This notice explains how Recursa uses personal information when you visit recursa.co, contact us, or enquire about our services. Recursa is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at hello@recursa.co.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, for example when you email us about a project. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, location, and the details you share about your project.

Our hosting and email providers may also process limited technical information needed to operate and protect their services, such as IP address, browser or device information, and server logs.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, discuss and deliver work, manage our relationship with clients, keep appropriate business records, and protect the security of our website and services.

We normally rely on our legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and run Recursa efficiently; on performance of a contract when we provide work to you; and on legal obligations where we need to retain information for tax, accounting or other legal reasons.

Who receives it

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us host this website, provide email, process payments, or deliver a project. They may only use it to provide their services to us or where they have their own legal responsibilities.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or other safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact, unless it becomes part of a client relationship. We keep client, invoice and project records for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver the service and meet accounting, tax or legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information; to restrict or object to its use; or to receive a portable copy. You can exercise these rights by emailing hello@recursa.co.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We would appreciate the chance to resolve a concern first, but you can contact the ICO directly at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and third-party resources

Recursa does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Our Cookie Notice has more detail. The site uses Google Fonts; when your browser requests those font files, Google may receive standard technical information such as your IP address under its own privacy policy.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our practices or the law changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its updated date.
